Childlike Faith

This whimsical painting depicts a small historic Pennsylvania church, inspired by a friend’s childhood memory. The artwork features soft, cloudy skies with dreamlike qualities and loose brushstrokes evoking innocent remembrance. A gentle green door and white cross draw viewers inward, while textured greens and whites create vibrant life. A tiny blue bird on the roofline symbolizes “Holy, Holy, Holy,” representing the purity of first encountering God’s voice. The piece incorporates Revelation 4:8 (ESV), inviting reflection on personal encounters with faith.
